Ion Column Capital

MS 2-3. yüzyıl

All the faces of this column capital from the 2nd-3rd centuries are organized in the same manner. In the echinus section, there is an ion-kyma border with three egg motifs. Below this, there is a plant motif consisting of circular lines and an undecorated band. The capital plate is in two parts. The volutes have deep and wide channels.
